Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” – Skopje, today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia organised expert discussion titled “Advancing regional cooperation and EU integration”.
The conference served as an opening event of the project Advancing regional cooperation and EU integration through the Think Balkan initiative, implemented by the Institute for Democracy.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Filip Tosevski, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Government of North Macedonia and Marko Troshanovski, President at the Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” – Skopje.
Perspectives from the region were presented by Andi Balla, Researcher at the Albanian Institute for International Studies, Dusko Lopandic, Expert at the European Movement Serbia, Professor at the Faculty of Law University of Belgrade and Zoran Nechev, Head of the Centre for European Integrations at the Institute for Democracy. The disscusion was moderated by Ivan Damjanovski, Professor at the Political Science department at the Faculty of Lap, Ss. Cyric and Methodius University in Skopje and Associate Researcher at IDSCS.
