These are the most frequently used 200 words by the MPs in the Macedonian Parliament during 8 plenary sessions and one session on the European Affairs Committee in October.
The words are imported together with analysis of the frequency of their usage based on the shorthand notes from the sessions, made by the parliamentary services. By entering 300 pages of text from the discussions of the MPs it turns out that the mostly mentioned words are the Government, the European Union, denars and euros, projects, Budget, roads, municipalities…Unlike the previous clouds from the discussions, we now had removed the words which are part of the technical vocabulary of the MPs on the sessions, in order to obtain only the frequency of the words, referring to the essence of the discussions in the Parliament.

The word cloud is imported through the application Wordle.net and it can be seen in a larger resolution on the following link.
The analysis of the speeches of the MPs is part of the monitoring of the quality of debate in the Parliament within the project “Parliamentary Watch, Strengthening the Political Debate and the Deliberative Discourse”. The Third Report on the Quality of Debate in October showed rise in the interaction between the MPs, reflected through the increased number of replies and counter-replies, but at the same time also a weak discussion on the legal proposals.
