The TRAIN program of the German Council on Foreign Relations is a program for capacity building of young researchers from think tanks from the Western Balkans. By fostering dialogue with policymakers, TRAIN presents a forum for networking between researchers and developing relationships with decision makers. IDSCS in 2015 participated in the program and the purpose of the individual research was to analyze the effectiveness of the mechanisms for reporting corruption.
The activities of this project were:
- Participation of two training workshops on writing and advocacy
- Participation in policy forums with decision-makers in the European Union and Germany
- Analysis: “Imagine if you were a low paid clerk: The challenges with using corruption reporting mechanisms in controlling corruption in Macedonia”
