[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” animation_duration=”1″ animation_delay=”0″]The project\u2019s overarching goal is to contribute to the reform process in North Macedonia by strengthening the Parliament\u2019s role in the fight against corruption and its leadership in implementing and monitoring rule-of-law reforms. This will be achieved through sustained engagement with political parties\u2014including their leadership and youth organisations, parliament members, civil society, and citizens. The project will also focus on tracking the implementation of the new National Anti-Corruption Strategy and evaluating the effectiveness of anti-corruption reforms through inclusive, consultative, and participatory approaches.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To support this goal, the project will pursue the following objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Increase knowledge and awareness of anti-corruption reforms among stakeholders and the public.<\/strong> The project will generate and disseminate evidence-based knowledge to inform political actors, institutions, and citizens about the implementation and effectiveness of anti-corruption reforms, including the National Anti-Corruption Strategy. By providing timely analysis and creating accessible public content, the project will strengthen awareness of corruption risks, reform priorities, and institutional performance. These efforts will support informed decision-making, transparency, and public dialogue.<\/li>\n
  2. Strengthen the anti-corruption capacities of political parties and the Parliament of North Macedonia<\/strong>. The project will enhance the ability of political parties\u2014including their leadership structures, youth wings, and relevant committees\u2014and members of Parliament to engage meaningfully in anti-corruption policymaking. Through targeted trainings, sector-specific workshops, and ongoing advocacy, the project will build the competencies of political stakeholders to recognize, prevent, and respond to corruption risks. This includes supporting Parliament\u2019s oversight role in monitoring reform implementation and strengthening long-term strategic planning for anti-corruption efforts.<\/li>\n
  3. Mobilize public demand for accountability through civic engagement and activism.<\/strong> The project will empower citizens and civil society organizations to take a more active role in demanding integrity from political and institutional actors. By amplifying civic voices, promoting participatory monitoring, and conducting public-facing advocacy campaigns, the project will foster a culture of active citizenship and bottom-up accountability. These efforts aim to increase public pressure on political actors to follow through on reform commitments and improve institutional responsiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
