{"id":13568,"date":"2022-01-10T13:35:40","date_gmt":"2022-01-10T13:35:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/idscs.org.mk\/en\/?p=13568"},"modified":"2023-06-23T13:12:14","modified_gmt":"2023-06-23T13:12:14","slug":"fostering-public-debate-on-anti-corruption","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/idscs.org.mk\/en\/2022\/01\/10\/fostering-public-debate-on-anti-corruption\/","title":{"rendered":"Fostering Public Debate on Anti-Corruption"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text animation_duration=&#8221;1&#8243; animation_delay=&#8221;0&#8243;]In the period between October, 2021 \u2013 September, 2023 the Institute for Democracy \u201cSocietas civilis\u201d \u2013 Skopje will implement the project <strong>\u201cFostering Public Debate on Anti-Corruption\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The project includes research and advocacy aimed to support the reform process in North Macedonia through strengthening the rule of law reform agenda. In order to achieve this goal, the project envisages establishing cooperation and consultation processes with all relevant stakeholders in the fight against corruption.<\/p>\n<p>The project aims to cooperate with anticorruption institutions on developing strategic, long-term visions about institutional development which will meet future processes and forms of corruption. Through the project, the Institute for Democracy will work with institutions on reviewing key societal processes expected to affect the fight against corruption by the year 2030. Based on the anticipated developments in corruption, plans will be made about how institutions can cope with contemporary challenges in the fight against corruption.<\/p>\n<p>Through a policy dialogue between anti-corruption institutions, the Parliament and civil society, the project will aim towards three specific objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting the improvement of policies by drawing from long-term visions about risks of corruption and currently identified deficiencies.<\/li>\n<li>Informing long-term institutional development planning based on foresight analysis and strategic thinking.<\/li>\n<li>Educating the public and create demand for better anti-corruption planning from the authorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration:\u00a0<\/strong>October, 2021
