
The Balkan Civil Society Development Network, together with 75 organizations submitted a request to Mr Kiril Bozhinovski, Secretary General of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Sector for Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations at the General Secretariat – Government of the Republic of Macedonia to change the procedure for selection of members in the Council from the civil sector and for choosing a President of the Council after the draft-decision for forming a Council for Cooperation between the Government and the civil sector.
The request is supported by 75 organizations, among which: citizens associations and foundations from different fields of practice, coalitions of citizens associations and the international organization Affinity Group of National Associations (AGNA), connecting 58 national associations fighting for civil society development throughout the world.

The Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” Skopje (IDSCS) is one of the organizations which supported the initiative and signed the letter.
The Balkan Civil Society Development Network will inform on the future steps connected to the claim and the draft-decision on the forming of a Council for Cooperation between the Government and the civil sector.
