Foresight analyzes is a tool for timely identification of potential risks and future trends in particular areas of the society. In the context of combating corruption, the Foresight analysis of future and current corruption challenges predicts the direction in which corruption and the fight against corruption will move in North Macedonia, in this case until 2030. Its objective is to instigate a debate about the problems that the institutions will face in the near future, underlining the importance of early familiarization with the risks and the need for timely strategic planning of combating corruption.
In 2024, it is important to consider the analysis in the context of the current situation and what are the things the new parliament should focus on in order to achieve a favorable environment for combating corruption.
The central responsibility for the necessary reforms, in addition to the Government, is carried by the Parliament, which is expected to be a continuous corrector of the work of the institutions by ensuring quality supervision, setting clear objectives and expectations from them regarding their success in combating corruption.
