During 3-4 December 2014 in Ohrid a workshop was held on the preparation of a CSOs Strategy on prevention of conflict of interest. A total of 17 CSOs, part of the CSOs network for prevention of spoils and conflict of interest, participated. The goal of the workshop was to establish the general directions of a future civil society strategy on joint actions in the field of prevention of conflict of interest.
The workshop was divided into two parts, the first part included group work and identifying critical points where CSOs can focus, as well as means of action. The second part of the workshop focused on the sustainability of the network and methods of communication between network members. The workshop was facilitated by representatives of the project partners, Jovan Bliznakovski from the Institute for Democracy ‘Societas Civilis’ (IDSCS), Ruzica Stojanovska from the Institute for Economic Strategies and International Affairs ‘Ohrid’ (OI) and Jane Stefanov from the Macedonian Institute for Media (MIM).
The workshop was conducted in the framework of the project ‘CSOs network for prevention of spoils and conflict of interest in the public administration’, financially supported by the European Union and implemented by the Institute for Democracy ‘Societas Civilis’ Skopje (IDSCS), the Institute for Economic Strategies and International Relations ‘Ohrid’ (OI) and the Macedonian Institute for Media (MIM).
