On 18.11.2013 a workshop related to the project “Europeanization by Rule of Law Implementation in the Western Balkans” supported by the “Regional Research Promotion Program” of the “Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation” (SDC) and implemented by the Institute for Democracy “SOCIETAS CIVILIS” – Skopje, will be held at the premises of the “Center for European Policies” (CEPS) in Brussels. CEPS is one of the leading forums for debating topics connected to the European Union and also a great platform for dissemination of the conclusions, which derived from this project.

By organizing this workshop and by establishing a close communication through interviews with politicians, diplomats and other experts in the EU institutions and their representatives in the Western Balkans countries, the project team tried to present the results from the project research and show them within a wider debate, through which the EU policies and strategies are formulated. The workshop will be moderated by Erwan Fouere, older researcher and former EU representative in Macedonia. These are the project team-members, who will participate on the workshop: Marko Kmezikj – Center for Southeast European Studies of the University of Graz, Zoran Ilievski – University in Skopje and Vladimir Misev – President of the Institute for Democracy “SOCIETAS CIVILIS” – Skopje.
