On 5 May 2011 in Shtip, the Institute for Democracy and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation organized a public relations seminar for the representatives of the religious communities from the Shtip region. Representatives of the Bregalnica eparchy, from the Macedonian Orthodox Church and the Mufti’s Office in Shtip, from the Islamic religious community, also participated on the seminar.
The lecturers Marina Tuneva and Jasmina Mironski, through interactive workshops presented the participants the needed skills for having a successful public and media presentation. They also spoke about the importance of public relations in improving the inter-religious tolerance in the country.
During the lecture, the participants learned about different techniques, strategies and instruments for media communication, with the goal of the public being continously informed about the work of the religious community.
These seminars will continue during the month of May in Ohrid, Bitola, Kichevo and Strumica.
